The Science, Math, and Information Technology Building at the Episcopal School of Dallas is designed to fit within the traditional setting of the existing campus architecture while exposing the students to the dynamic systems used in today's modern buildings.
Laboratories and classrooms incorporate current, state of the art features and are easily adaptable to the continuous changes of emerging technologies. This project is part of a Master Plan created in 1983 and completes the primary student 'quad' that links directly through its cross axis connection to the Chapel. The open courtyard with it's suspended bridge provides both a dynamic gathering space for students between class functions as well as natural light to interior spaces. |
