Background

OGLESBY GREENE is a firm of architects whose senior principals have worked together for over thirty years on a variety of projects. The firm currently has a staff of 9 professional, technical, and support personnel. Projects have included schools (pre-school through university level), corporate headquarters, municipal buildings, hospital and health care facilities, housing for the elderly, churches, and residences. The majority of our projects range in scope to $20 million and are designed for people who use, occupy, and own their buildings.

 

We are committed to the participation of the Principals of the firm in projects, and to the continuity of this involvement from the initial contact to the time the Owner moves in. Projects are a team effort that includes the owner and user, the architect, and ultimately the contractor. An important point in the organization of the project is the single point of contact and communication between the representative of the owner and the managing principal of the architectural firm.

 

Effective control of project costs begins when the project budget is established. We work with clients to make sure there is a balance between their expectations and the financial resources.

 

Creative and responsive design, thorough and complete construction documents, together with professional and experienced construction administration are the keys to a cost effective and successful project.
